Easing lockdown in supported housing settings (webinar)

We know that housing associations have put a wide range of measures in place to support vulnerable people to safely self-isolate during the coronavirus outbreak, including meal deliveries, collecting shopping or prescriptions, organising virtual social activities to combat loneliness and isolation, and delivering support services remotely. As lockdown restrictions continue to ease, supported housing providers are facing difficult choices about how quickly to open up schemes and which of these specific measures to retain on a long-term basis.

Many supported housing members have told us that they still feel they are facing an ongoing crisis and they are not ready to safely open up schemes again. We know that some members plan to continue delivering aspects of their support services remotely for the foreseeable future.

This webinar focuses on balancing resident and staff safety with reopening schemes, including when to allow visitors, how to reopen communal facilities safely, and dealing with local lockdowns.
