Our response to the compulsory vaccine consultation

The government recently ran a consultation on making vaccination a condition of deployment in older adult care homes.

Having consulted our members on the questions set out in the consultation, we took the decision to write to the Social Care Minister, Helen Whately, to ask the Minister to take into account the range of views that exist on this matter among providers, and to ask for greater dialogue to address the range of concerns expressed by people managing services for people with care and support needs in a variety of settings.
