Domestic abuse and consumer regulation

01 November 2023

This webinar discusses the requirements of the Social Housing (Regulation) Act and incoming consumer standards that will require housing associations to work cooperatively with other agencies to tackle domestic abuse and enable tenants to access appropriate support and advice.

Housing associations will be expected to have a policy for how they respond to domestic abuse and to work with local authority departments to support them in meeting their duty to develop a strategy and commission services for victims of domestic abuse and their children within safe accommodation.
