Equality, diversity and inclusion regional data breakdown

19 January 2022

The NHF has published regional breakdowns of the data for housing associations to review and act on following the launch of our national equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) report.

The regional reports present the complete data, analysis and recommendations for each of the nine regions in England. Region is determined by the location of the housing association headquarters, rather than location of stock.

The data comes from our national data collection exercise, with responses from 174 organisations, representing 71% of homes owned by housing associations in England. The findings show diversity data for workforce, staff, executives, and board members in each region, and representation compared to population by stock location.

Regional breakdowns of the data from our national EDI data collection are available to access below for housing associations in these areas to review and act on. This includes a summary for each region which should be read alongside the regional data published in the completed NHF EDI data tool and the main report on national data.
