Environmental, Social and Governance reporting white paper – consultation response

We have responded to the white paper on creating a sector-standard approach to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting.

The Good Economy’s white paper sets out the growing demand from the investment community for the reporting of ESG-type measures.

We welcome the development of ESG criteria outlined in the paper as an important step in retaining the housing sector’s position as the natural home for many UK and international investors’ funds.

We are also supportive in principle of assisting the formation and running of a multidisciplinary working group.
