Together with Tenants - get ready for rollout

Our leaflet explains why our Together with Tenants work is so important for the sector, and the questions you should be asking within your organisation ahead of the 2020 rollout.

Together with Tenants is a sector-wide initiative focused on strengthening the relationship between tenants, residents and housing association landlords. 

Working with tenants, residents and our members, we've identified four actions we believe are key to achieving this: 

• A new requirement in the Federation’s Code of Governance for boards to be accountable to their tenants and residents.
• A new Together with Tenants Charter.
• Tenant and resident oversight and reporting of progress against the charter.
• Giving tenants and residents a stronger collective voice with the Regulator.

Our Together with Tenants Plan was developed in close collaboration with tenants, residents, housing associations and stakeholders. It is currently being tested by our 132 early adopter organisations, after which we will make any necessary changes before a sector-wide rollout in mid-2020.
