Roundtable of the Brexit Business Taskforce

As the government prepares for the UK's exit from the European Union on 31 December 2020, the NHF has been raising with ministers, the potential implications of Brexit on housing associations.

Last week, Kate Henderson attended a roundtable of the Brexit Business Taskforce organised by the Cabinet Office and jointly chaired by the Minister for Housing, Rt Hon Christopher Pincher MP and the Minister for Business, Energy and Clean Growth Rt Hon Kwasi Kwarteng MP.

The meeting focused on the readiness of the construction, and housing sector, for the end of the transition. Kate raised the need for as much certainty as possible, regarding any policy changes that will impact construction supply chains and housing associations ability to build and deliver for their residents.
