Consultation on the Housing Ombudsman’s Complaint Handling Code

The Social Housing (Regulation) Act 2023 places the Complaints Handling Code onto a statutory footing and puts a duty on the Housing Ombudsman Service to monitor compliance with the Code. The Housing Ombudsman Service is seeking views on the Code and its proposals for monitoring compliance. 

What does the Complaints Handling Code mean for housing associations? 

During this session, we heard directly from the Housing Ombudsman Service about its proposals and what they will mean in practice for housing associations.
