How housing associations are responding to increases in domestic abuse

This webinar, organised by the NHF’s National Domestic Abuse group, explores responses by housing associations to domestic abuse during the pandemic and what lessons we can learn as the pandemic continues.

There has been a significant increase in calls and requests from domestic abuse services during this the lockdowns this year. Housing providers have played and will continue to play a key role in recognising and supporting domestic abuse victims during this period.

During this webinar, we hear from Longhurst Group and Hestia about how they equipped themselves to respond to the increased demand for services and what housing providers can learn from their approach.

We also hear from a domestic abuse survivor who shares her story and offers her insight into how housing providers can best support survivors during the pandemic.
